Wednesday evening we took a Pearl River dinner cruise. While the food is several levels below the dinner cruises on Lake Michigan, it is still a bargain at 88 Yuan ($11). Cruises without dinner cost 44 Yuan.On a very warm day, it was a pleasure to feel the breeze by the riverbank. When the ship was moving it was perfect.
While it has somewhat less neon than Times Square or Las Vegas, it is in their class. I would not like to sleep next to one of the buildings.
